Hair "Growth" Products

I am so excited about the hair growth line. A quintessential upgrade from our original hair pomade, the growth line contains an herbal blend infusion. The infusion must mature accordingly and the blend must be just right but the results that have been experienced from these various ingredients combined with the traditional methods and research that has gone into putting this together makes me want to toast! The quality of this product is, bar none, the best yet!

My brother suggested I create something to aid him with his receding hair line. In fact, I inherited very fine hair myself. Although, I dont typically have any problems with growth I did need to create something that I could use on my new do.

I just cut over 12 years of locs off to start a new journey so hair product is nothing new to me. My locs were longer than my torse but even many of my loc friends have issues with their follicles being malnourished and falling off. They would often ask what I used in my hair to get it to grow that long.

Along with regular TLC, I decided to incorporate many of those "tricks of the trade" in some of the products that we make. The process, although some may consider simple, is a time consuming process. Additionally, becauese many of the herbs are more world reknown than locally grown I would also need reliable sourcing. After making those connections, I am delighted to finally introduce the hair growth pomade, serum, and scalp salve.

Some of the herbs included in the Growth Products include:

Gotu Kola (Pennywort or Centella asiatica) which is known to increase blood vessel and collagen growth with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties while preventing swelling. It is known to protect the blood vessels and in a study done with mice it lowered their free radicals and stress which are both known to cause hair loss.

Korean red ginseng- also believed to increase the number of dermal papilla cells in the scalp by preventing their natural cell death. Ginseng may also stimulate the scalp, encouraging hair growth. Studies show thatginseng also reduces stress when ingested, and reduced stress can help prevent or slow hair loss.

Horsetail, or Equisetum arvense, contains the mineral silica or silicon, which works to strengthen your bones, as well as your nails and hair. Horsetail also contains selenium, a mineral that is essential for the proper growth of your hair, as it helpsyour body process iodine, which regulates hair growth as well.

Shikakai is used for nourishing your follicals. It is a great source of essential vitamins. Its vitamin C content, especially, helps promote hair growth by giving your scalp a collagen boost. It is also a great source of antioxidants that help prevent free-radical damage.

There are several other herbs included but I will continue to review them individually.
